Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush is an American pop music boy band formed in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. The group was featured on Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28 in 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first single for promotion, "Big Time Rush". The band has released three albums, including BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven , released in 2013. In 2014, the group went on an indefinite hiatus that would last until 2021. They returned to live performances in the studio, and then came out with "Call It Like It's Seeing It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 simultaneously with the TV show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon also joined forces with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and original music. For the show, their debut single, "Big Time Rush" was released on the 29th the 29th of November, 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon in November 2009, the show was broadcast for the first time in the American market. The single was then released internationally. It premiered during a special preview of the series. It's currently the show's theme. The promotional singles were also released by the show which included "City is Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also performed the Play song "Famous", which was written by him. The song was released to iTunes on the 29th of June, 2010. The second song, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes after it's premiere on the show. The song quickly became the first track to be charted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 , thanks to sales on digital. Big Time Rush's second single, "Till You Forget About You", was released on the 21st of September the 21st of September, 2010. This was to promote the release of their debut album. On October 11, 2010 the album, named BTR released to the public. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial 67,000 copies.
