Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born
September 4 on 1981, in Houston. Her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson is the
designer of their glittering costumes, and her father, Mathew Knowles is the
manager of Destiny's Child. Solange and her sister (4 years apart) released her
first album. She dances along with her sister at DC-3 concerts. Beyonce is of
Louisiana Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston found her and her
group. Lovefool by The Cardigans is one of her top songs. A pair of metallic
boots for work is her most coveted piece of clothing. She is the author and
producer for many of the group's hit songs, including "Jumpin
Jumpin""Bootylicious" Nasty Girls", "Independent
Women", and "Happy Face". She is the lead singer of Destiny's
Child. For her opening act she went on tour together with Christina Aguilera
(2000). TLC was their opening show (1999). Master P is a cat. She was a student
at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Houston, Texas.

(2004) show. Her father, Mathew, is of African-American descent. The mother of
her, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole heritage - predominantly African and French,
with ancestors from Louisiana and prior to that, Canada. Beyonce is 1/32 Irish
and has distant Breton and Spanish, Indonesian and Chinese roots. According to
some, she developed a stage persona known as "Sasha" in order to
overcome her shyness.
